5 Top Things To-Do In Manchester (UK)

IMG_7446_FotorManchester is an important city in England having its history embedded in the industrial  revolution. Manchester’s location makes it a suitable place put your beddings down if you intend to visit the upper part of England, Scotland & Ireland. Furthermore, it has a fully functional airport which is reachable by much cheaper air tickets then tho Heathrow. Manchester do have some interesting things to do and see, which are listed here in below

No.1 Crystal Maze

This is my no.1 must-do thing as I have grown up watching the game show “Crystal Maze”! It is fun place to be in and have a gala time. If your are with children then this is a MUST-DO for you! Check it out in the webpage of Crystal Maze.

No.2 Manchester Ship Canal Cruises

You can take a canal cruise through the 35-mile stretch of canal.Mersey Ferries has a amazing cruise through this canal and lasts about 6 hours cruises which takes you through mind-blowing scenery. Many of the cruises include a 2 ½ hour stopover at the end point.

3. Climb the Clock Tower of Manchester Town Hall

Right in the centre of the city is the Victorian-era building which happens to be the ‘Town Hall’. What I suggest is that other than taking a tour of the Hall, you a must see as the architecture is stunning both inside and out. You can join a guided tour that you climb the clock tower and after paying a nominal fee stand behind the giant clock face and get a panoramic view of the city!

No.4 The Old Wellington

This would be no.1 ‘Things To-Do’ for a pub-lover 😀 The Old Wellington is a old British pub housed in a very old building built in 1552! You can have amazing warm foods here. Its gives you a genuine ‘old world’ vibe that is so refreshing!

5. Heaton Park

Located at Manchester, this beautiful park is one of the largest municipal park in Europe. It has an animal farm, a old manor house, boating lake, golf course, etc This is a good place to stroll around and revitalise. It also has a cute tram that you can travel around in!

Thats all for today friends! I will be back with a post on ‘Day Trips from Manchester’! See you around!
